Banquet Info (plus picture info!)
Hey girls! Your coaches have missed you, but we've got another chance to get together and celebrate our season! Just a reminder that the team banquet will be Thursday, November 3rd at 6 PM in the small gym at the high school. We will be doing a dutch-oven style meal catered by Dutch Oven Shoppe (boneless chicken, boneless ribs, potatoes, beans, rolls, and cobbler and ice cream). Please RSVP for the banquet by Wednesday, October 26. How to RSVP: The cost is $8 per person. Bring your money to Sheri Ricks or Coach Kelli by the deadline.

Reminder: Today is a HOME Game against Highland
Contrary to what many schedules say, we are home against Highland today at 3:30 PM. We attempted to get this changed well before the season started to avoid having to travel to SLC twice the last week of the season. The powers in charge were unable to accommodate. See you this afternoon!

BBQ and Sponsors
Instead of practice on Labor Day, we are having a team BBQ @5:30 pm at the Curtis home in Honeyville (2010 W 5800 N). Girl's, we will be playing some active games after dinner, so come in comfortable clothes. Can't wait to see you ladies there!
Also, all sponsors need to be in by this Thursday, September 8. Contact Matt and Lisa Powell if you have any questions.

IMPORTANT INFORMATION FOR TRYOUTS/SEASON 2016
LAST WEEK OF CONDITIONING IS THIS WEEK! BELOW ARE ALL THE THINGS YOU NEED TO KNOW TO BE READY FOR TRYOUTS!
Conditioning
The last week of conditioning is very important. Finish the week strong and put yourself in the best possible shape for tryouts and the season.
You should be working 30 minutes minimum everyday on your ball control as well.
Register for Tryouts
You must be registered for tryouts before NEXT MONDAY, AUGUST 1st. Visit registermyathlete.com to register. There are 4 parts to registration. 1) Start registration. 2) Review Electronic Documents. 3) Guardian E-Signature. 4) Athlete E-Signature. Some of you have not completed all 4 steps. Please ensure that they are all done.
You do not need to have a physical or pay fees for tryouts but it would be a good idea to get your physical done beforehand. If you make the team, you will be very busy the first week of the season. There is no free physical sponsored by the school so you are required to schedule one on your own. Paperwork should be turned in directly to Kim's office. PLEASE GET YOUR PHYSICAL DONE ASAP.
Tryouts
Tryouts will start at 8:00 AM and 3:30 PM on Monday, August 1st. You can plan on 2 hours per session for tryouts. Practice will start at 3:30 on Tuesday, August 2nd.
If you do not have a 2.0 GPA or if you have more than one F in any subject from last spring semester, you are not eligible to make the team.
If you make the team you must commit to the following:
Grades and Conduct
You must commit to maintaining good grades. You must have a minimum grade point average of 2.0 and no unsatisfactory citizenship grades. Also, I will be implementing a team rule that if your grades slips during the season and you have any D's, you will not be eligible to play until your grade comes up to a C. If you have any F's, you will not be a part of the team until you can reach a C and convince me your grades will not slip again. Anyone that has a D or lower at any point during the season will not be eligible to letter.
Fees
Along with the school and district fees which are about $70, there will be some team fees to cover the cost of camp, uniforms pieces you will keep, lunches for away games etc. I estimate that team fees will be $170. There will be opportunities to fundraise to offset these fees if you apply yourself. There will also be some optional team wear articles to purchase if desired.
Camp
Camp this year will be Thu. Aug 4th - Sat. Aug 6th. We will start at 7:30 am on the 4th and will not arrive home until late on the 6th. This year's camp is going to be A LOT OF FUN as well as very beneficial to our team development. You must be able to attend this.
Parents Meeting
There will be a parents meeting Tuesday, Aug 2nd at 5:30 PM, at the field. At least one parent will need to be present. We will need a lot of help from parents in order to make the year a success.
Practice
Practice will start every week day at 3:30 PM. Players must be ready to practice at 3:30 (be there ten minutes early to stretch and jog).
JR Bees
We will start Jr Bees on Saturday, August 13. If you make the team, you are required to participate as this is our main fundraiser. The Jr Bees season will run weekly on Saturday mornings until the first week of October (no games on Labor Day, and afternoon games on Peach Days).

Thanks again to the seniors who led conditioning during moratorium. Hope that was beneficial. We're only three weeks out from tryouts. Tryouts are Monday, August 1, @ 8AM and 3:30PM. If you haven't kicked it in gear for the upcoming season, now is the time!
This week: Moratorium ends Tuesday. We will be practicing/conditioning Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, and Friday @ 8AM. All interested in trying out should attend.
Freshmen: clinics are over. Thanks for showing up! We're exciting about the talent we have among our incoming freshmen.
Junior Bees: Our fundraiser has been successful so far. We've nearly matched our registration totals for last year. We still have a few spaces left so encourage your friends and family to sign up.

Soccer Clinics and Fundraiser Update
The first Monday in June is here! Our first soccer clinic will be today, @3:30. Bring your own ball and lots of water. We are excited to work with our new freshman and also to see some of our upperclassmen back on the field.
The Autoliv fundraiser is THIS SATURDAY. Girls, we need to show up at 9:30 and stay until about 1:30. We still need more girls!! So far we have:

We will be discussing summer conditioning, summer expectations, tryouts, etc. Also, we will be introducing you to some of our new coaches/staff! Please plan on attending if you have any interest in playing with us next season. Camp plans are in the works, exhibition games are scheduled, and it should prove to be a fun and competitive season. Team meeting for all Juniors, Sophomores and Freshman of this years team.
There will be a meeting on 2/19 for all Junior, Sophomore and Freshman members of this years girls soccer team. The meeting will be in Kelli's room at 3:00. Please get the word out to all current members of the team and to all managers.
The meeting will be 30 minute long.
